Itza door handle

The design challenge was to design a versatile interior door lever handle to suit contemporary forms of surrounding architecture for both residential and public projects. The name Itza comes from the Chichen Itza ruins located in Yucatan, Mexico. The design of the door handle mimics the steps of the pyramids. These steps, translated in the handle invite the user to experience something unique. This shape accentuates the senses and curiosity that may only be satisfied through the use of the handle.
